Artist’s Biography
Epper
Inspired by transcendentalism and romanticism of nineteenth century, Epper’s landscapes call for contemplation. They invite the viewer in for a moment of peace and tranquility, which is often difficult to find in contemporary society. Epper captures the fleeting changes of seasons with his loose brushstrokes, beautifully painting the foliage of trees, rolling hills, flowing rivers, and floating hazy clouds. In all of his paintings there is a brilliant essence of light, reflecting on the water and shining through branches and leaves.
Epper’s work has been widely shown in galleries in Europe and North America. He continues painting en plein air, and in his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and playing guitar.
