This authentically detailed bust is a replica of the sculpture which was crafted by the great French neoclassical sculptor Jean-Antoine Houdon. The overall height of the bust is 6" high X 3.5" wide x 3" deep. White marble or bronze finish over Polyresin.

Houdon was one of the most celebrated portrait sculptors of his day. He was commissioned by kings and great men all over Europe to render their likenesses in stone.
Houdon lived from 1741 to 1828, and was one of the
most celebrated sculptors of his day. He was commissioned to create sculptures
of a number of American leaders, including Benjamin Franklin, George Washington,
and Thomas Jefferson.
On the underside of the black base onto which the replica is mounted is
a label which provides interesting historical information about Thomas Jefferson and Houdon. The base has 4 rubber felts to protect your fine
furniture.
